Texan sheriff escorts terrapin from middle of road
Has a turtle panic when it sees the law

LAW ENFORCEMENT officers in Texas undertook an unusual rescue operation, after discovering a terrapin in the middle of the road.
Caught on film released by the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, the cold blooded critter made a beeline for the roadside when the policeman approached, its speed defying the stereotype of turtles being sluggish on land.
Since being uploaded, the clip has become a viral hit, having amassed over 41,000 views and more than 1,800 likes on social media at time of writing.
