‘Idiot’ Seat Ibiza driver disqualified for smashing into back of lorry

A Seat Ibiza driver has been disqualified for a reckless overtaking move that caused a crash on a busy road in the East Midlands.
Police release terrifying hit and run footage in appeal for information. The terrifying footage shows a 19-year-old man being struck by a vehicle at high speed in Normanton Road, Derby, at about 7.30pm on November 5 last year.  The man flies through the air before landing on the kerb and sliding along it. The driver of the car did not stop at the scene.
