Video: Vicki Butler-Henderson shows Jake Humphrey why she's a better driver than cook
Welcome to the second in Humphrey’s new series of short films as he finds out what fires his friends’ enthusiasm for motoring.
“I WANT to show you that having children doesn’t mean you have to be in a city car all the time.”
And with that, Sunday Times Driving correspondent, TV presenter and racing driver Vicki Butler-Henderson floors the accelerator of her 520bhp Porsche Panamera and, with presenter and Sun Motors writer Jake Humphrey in the passenger seat, rockets down a track.
Welcome to the second in Jake’s new series of short films as he finds out what fires his friends’ enthusiasm for motoring.
“I want them to show me what driving means to them,” he explains. “Where do they love to drive, and why do they do it?”
In Vicki’s case it’s quite simple, as she explains in the film: “I can’t iron, I’m a crap cook ‒ but I can drive, and that’s what I love.”
See the first film in the series when Sunday Times Driving correspondent Dom Joly took Jake on an off-road journey, and stay tuned for the next film featuring Formula One commentator James Allen.
