News: Middle-aged male Tory voters suffer most road rage attacks

MIDDLE-AGED professional men who vote Tory are most likely to be the victims of road rage attacks, according to a survey. Their tormentors are typically men aged between 25 and 39.

The survey, by the makers of a TV programme about road rage, defined attacks as “showing anger at another road user verbally, by gesture or by physical aggression.”

A lack of respect, bad driving in other road users and “being in a rush” were the reasons most given by people committing road rage.

In total, more than four in 10 road users claimed to have been on the receiving end of road rage, while only a fifth admitted committing it.
