News: Free London motor show in Regent Street this weekend

IF YOU find yourself entertaining the kids in the capital this half-term weekend, head for Regent Street, which is hosting its annual – and free – motor show.
A collection of cars spanning more than a hundred years will fill London’s bustling shopping mecca, a bumper-to-bumper display of historic metal and supercar delights from Piccadilly Circus to Oxford Circus.

Hundreds of cars will be on display, including the latest performance machines, eco-cars, family runabouts and historic vehicles taking part in the annual London to Brighton Veteran Car Run on Sunday. Take a peek at last year’s event in this video.
Regent Street will be closed to traffic on Saturday November 1 and the action takes place between 10.30am and 4pm. Entry is free and the shops will be open as normal.
The Bonham’s London to Brighton rally is an annual opportunity to get up close and personal with veteran and vintage cars of all shapes and sizes.
This year machines such as the 1896 Lutzmann, the three-wheeled 1897 Leon Bollee tandem two-seater and a number of beautiful Peugeot carriages from the early 1900s will be on display before they attempt the gruelling 60-mile drive to Brighton on Sunday.
