Corvette driver, 70, survives 150ft fall down river valley
Police are investigating

A 70-year-old driver destroyed his Chevrolet Corvette after going off the road and dropping 150ft down a mountainside in Arizona, USA.
According to the Beaver Dam/Littlewood Fire Department (which was the first emergency team to arrive at the scene), the Corvette driver survived, albeit in a critical condition when the fire crew reached his wrecked sports car.
After being given initial treatment at the scene, the man was recovered from the gorge and transferred to a nearby trauma centre.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
